Cabinets by Pannello Home Interiors
3–5 week lead time · industry standard 8–12
European engineering · Blum & Salice hardware, 18mm carcass
Designer-led · drawn before it's quoted
In-house installation · no subcontractors

Pannello cabinets are built around the same European hardware standards used by Boffi and Poliform — Blum and Salice hinges, full-extension undermount drawers, 18mm carcass construction. The difference is that we build them locally, so a Georgetown kitchen does not wait two months on a container ship.

Every cabinet program starts with a designer-led consultation. We measure, draw the elevation, and walk you through finishes in our DC showroom before a single panel is cut.

Why Pannello

Why Pannello cabinets

Most DC custom-cabinet shops quote eight to twelve weeks because they are still importing carcasses from Italy or Germany. We build the carcasses here in our DC-area shop, source the doors and finishes from our European partners, and assemble in Washington — which is how we deliver a finished kitchen in three to five weeks without compromising on the materials a designer specs.

  • 3–5 week lead time vs. 8–12 weeks industry standard
  • Designer-led specification, not a salesperson with a tablet
  • Full custom — no 3-inch grid limits
  • Backed by manufacturer warranty on hardware and finishes

No 3-inch increments — we draw to your wall, your soffit, your appliances.

From clients & designers

What people say after living with their Pannello cabinetry.

"Pannello drew our Georgetown kitchen the way an architect would — full elevations, real material samples, no salesperson with a tablet. The chimney chase that we had been trying to hide for ten years is now the most elegant element in the room."

Lauren O.

Homeowner · Georgetown

"The Pannello team turned around our Dupont condo kitchen in four weeks of fabrication and four days of install. Clean, on time, and the finish quality matched what we were specifying for clients in our own design practice."

Marc D.

Interior Designer · Dupont Circle

"We had eight contractors quote our McLean closet program. Pannello was the only one that drew it before quoting it. The drawings became the spec, and what got delivered matched the drawings exactly."

Frequently asked

Questions clients ask before booking.

How is Pannello different from a typical DC cabinet maker?

Most DC custom shops either import finished cabinets from Italy or Germany (8–12 week lead time, expensive freight) or build everything from US plywood with US hardware (faster but a different aesthetic). Pannello uses European doors, finishes, and hardware, but builds the carcasses locally — so you get the European look and engineering with a 3 to 5 week lead time.

Do you handle countertops, appliances, and installation?

Cabinets and counters are designed and installed together by Pannello. Appliances we coordinate with — we will spec them and integrate, but we do not sell them. Plumbing and electrical are coordinated with your contractor.

What is the typical investment for a kitchen?

Pannello kitchens start at around $40,000 and most projects land between $60,000 and $120,000 depending on size, finishes, and integrated appliances. We build a written estimate after the in-showroom consultation, not before.
