Porcelain has emerged as the most-durable countertop option available: heat, scratch, UV, and stain resistant in a way no other material is. The trade-off is fabrication. Porcelain is harder to cut and edge than quartz or stone. Pannello fabricates porcelain in-house with the right tooling.

Can porcelain be used outdoors in DC summers?
Yes. Porcelain is one of the few counter materials that holds up to DC summer humidity, freeze-thaw cycles, and UV exposure without fading or staining. It is our default recommendation for outdoor kitchens.
