Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Chevy Chase

Chevy Chase sits on both sides of the DC-Maryland line, but the housing stock on Western Avenue reads consistently: 1920s to 1940s center-hall colonials and Tudor revivals with kitchens that have been renovated at least once and, in many cases, are ready for a third act. Pannello draws replacement kitchens for these homes that respect the architecture — period proportions where appropriate, but with the materials and hardware of custom cabinetry underneath.

Two things distinguish Chevy Chase installations from a straightforward suburb install: plaster walls and tree cover. Plaster walls require anchoring into studs through the plaster — never into the plaster itself. We protect original Chevy Chase wood floors with rosin paper, masonite, and Ramboard for the full install duration. Tree cover makes many Chevy Chase kitchens darker than their square footage suggests, so we design the LED plan as part of the cabinetry drawings — undercabinet strips, integrated toe-kick channels, upper-cabinet lighting — before we draw the first elevation.
